Tony Mengine earned his B.S. in Economics at Boston College in 1988 and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1991. Since 1991, Tony, a native of Pittsburgh, has predominantly worked in Western Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas.

Tony is an active member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers, and the Allegheny County Bar Association. He also was selected to be a member of the prestigious Academy of Trial Lawyers in Allegheny County in 2008, an honor bestowed only by invite and election by his peers. He remains an active member today.

While he works predominantly in Pennsylvania, Mr. Mengine has handled cases all over the country, including representing a local movie producer at an Arbitration in Los Angeles and obtaining a $2.6 million verdict in Georgetown County, South Carolina in a commercial dispute of a business owner from Pittsburgh. He has also handled matters in Ohio, West Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Kentucky, Florida, and Arizona. Tony has experience in all types of complex litigation matters and has been asked to handle cases in other areas of the country.

Tony is a trial lawyer who focuses on litigation matters, mainly for Plaintiffs, in all areas of Personal Injury, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall accidents, medical malpractice, and product liability. He has successfully tried dozens of cases to verdict for the past 30 years and has the distinction of obtaining one of the largest verdicts ever in Allegheny County in 2014 after a 3-week trial ($15.8 million).

While he has many successful results in the courtroom, Tony is most proud of giving personal service and communication to all of his clients.

In the community, Tony is heavily involved in his local youth hockey and baseball Associations. He has worked with underprivileged youths in obtaining opportunities to play baseball by raising money and spearheading the construction of a new baseball field in conjunction with former major league player, Neil Walker. He also volunteers his time as a coach of the middle school baseball team at Pine-Richland. He has worked with other current and former major league players in organizing equipment drives for underprivileged children over the past 10 years. He has also volunteered his time to coach travel hockey and is a major supporter of the local youth and school hockey programs.
